Quantum Leap Farm hosted a tour of over 20 college students studying physical therapy at South University. Students observed first-hand the benefits of equine-assisted therapy and the use of horses for physical and occupational therapy, known as Hippotherapy. Our Occupational Therapist, Alexis Lopez and Speech Language Pathologist, Hannah Clites spoke to the group about their experience in the industry and the impact horses can have on clients with traumatic brain injuries, special needs, autism and more.
