Sue LevittSue Levitt received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from San Francisco State College and did graduate studies at the University of Delaware.   After working as a math and computer science teacher for two years in Delaware, she began her professional fundraising career in the education field.   In 2000, she moved to the Tampa Bay area and accepted the position of Director of Development for the Tampa Preparatory School where she increased their Annual Fund total giving 2 ½ times in five years.  She was part of the fundraising team for Tampa Prep’s campaign to build the new school and managed a staff of five and a volunteer group of over 100.

In 2006, Sue became Director of Development for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.  The Crisis Center is a valuable resource for our community, helping people facing serious life challenges or trauma.  Sue was responsible for fundraising, marketing and volunteer services.  During her tenure, she increased annual revenues over 100% from $69,000 to $1.6 million in six years.

At Quantum Leap Farm, Sue will focus her considerable powers on major giving, events and corporate sponsorships.  With her help we will be able to keep pace with the Farm’s tremendous growth—over 70% increase in participation over the last two years.  We hope you’ll join us and Sue, as we expand our reach, underwrite scholarships, grow our facility and serve our community.

Sue Levitt is also an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Suncoast Chapter.  She is a past President of this local chapter and has served on various committees.   When this industrious and dedicated worker isn’t on the job, she enjoys boating, outdoor activities and attending musical theater.  One of Sue’s favorite past times is watching her grandson Matthew play golf for the Tampa Prep School golf team.
