30+ years fundraising experience

Illinois Native

With over 30 years working in the fundraising industry, Sue joined Quantum Leap Farm in May 2013. Her experiences have come full circle, combining her childhood raised on a farm and a professional fundraising career to create a remarkable impact on the programs of the farm. After launching Quantum’s fundraising efforts to a new high, Sue retired in June 2015. With an interest to stay involved with the activities at the Farm, she joined the Board of Directors later that year.

Sue’s worked with many reputable non-profits in the Tampa Bay area including Tampa Preparatory School, the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and Meals on Wheels. At Quantum Leap Farm, Sue focused her efforts on major gifts, events, corporate sponsorships and planned giving. With her help we raised over $1 million in 2015 and have kept pace with the Farm’s tremendous growth—over 70% increase in participation over the last two years.

Sue has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from San Francisco State College and did graduate studies at the University of Delaware. She has been an active member and past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Suncoast Chapter. When this industrious and dedicated worker isn’t on the job, she enjoys boating, outdoor activities, attending musical theater or spending time with her grandson, Matthew.
