Dee is a beautiful 22 year old QH, 14.3 H and blind in his left eye as the result of chronic uveitis. His first career was working as a cow horse – he spent many years helping his owners manage a large herd. Dee’s disability didn’t stop him from being an exemplary Therapy Horse though – he served children and adults in our Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy and EASE Programs! Over time, his uveitis progressed to his right eye too, and with his vision failing, he was retired to Brooksville where he lives happily with his seeing eye horse and fellow retiree, Sonic.
