My Obvious, known simply as Mo, was simply an incredible therapy horse! He is a registered American Paint Horse donated to Quantum by Caitlin Robinson and her family. Mo may look like a tri-colored paint, but that’s only because he likes to roll in mud. He is a statuesque 16.1 hands tall, and his curious personality made him a perfect equine-therapist in our EASE sessions. Mo is good natured, level-headed, patient, obedient and playful, which gives him a seemingly innate ability to penetrate participants’ emotional walls and help them be more present. We could create an entire photo album dedicated to the many moments of connection our participants experienced with this special therapy horse! Mo has retired to his forever home at Irish Acres in Virginia with long time friends and volunteers of Quantum and is enjoying cooler weather.
