Saturday, October 8th was a beautiful afternoon at Quantum Leap Farm. The weather was in our court while families crowded in for an afternoon on the Farm just like the good old days. Best of all, their support and attendance underwrites Quantum Leap's therapeutic programs and participants. Donors are the biggest source of funding for Quantum Leap Farm. They make it possible for participants to take advantage of the excellent physical and mental health therapies the Farm provides.
At the October Farm Fest we served our hundreds of attendees with delicious food and drink, pony rides for the children, pony painting, spin art, a grand bouncie slide, games and a raffle prize of 2 Southwest Airlines round trip tickets. The band, Ocean Road, was superb under the direction of Leader, Dave Schreiber. Quantum Leap Farm luminaries, Voice of the Rays, Dewayne Staats and World Wresting Entertainment superstar and father of two young QLF participants, Chris Jericho, were gracious under the celebrity spotlight. Over 100 volunteers helped to make the October Farm Fest a day to remember for everyone who came out to Quantum Leap Farm.
