For over 13 years Quantum Leap Farm has been extremely fortunate to enjoy generous community support. We believe that a substantial base of individual contributors (both large and small) as the primary funding source for our operations is the key factor in achieving that “holy grail” of all nonprofit organizations: sustainability.
Fees for service bring in only a small portion of the revenue needed to fund Quantum Leap’s operations. People with disabilities experience financial hardship with much greater frequency than the general population, so paying these necessary fees is more of a sacrifice. Our client base will likely never be able to cover the costs of the services they receive here at Quantum Leap Farm.
To raise money Quantum Leap Farm holds fundraisers and applies for numerous grants. However, fundraisers can be expensive and effortful – at best they are an inefficient way to raise funds. Likewise grant writing and subsequent record keeping can be very time and labor intensive, depending on the grantor’s requirements. Individual donors are undoubtedly our single most important funding source. Without our generous contributors, Quantum Leap Farm would not, and could not, continue to exist.
We are an IRS 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, therefore all or part of your contributions are tax deductible. We are also part of the Combined Federal Campaign, which distributes the donations of Federal employees to selected, qualified charities. If you, or a Federal employee you know, would like to contribute to Quantum Leap through the Combined Federal Campaign, our CFC number is 30427. We offer many options for contributing, from "in kind" item contributions to special programs and sponsorships.
To make a donation, click the Make a Donation button at the top of this page. Under the One Time Donation heading, click Donate. To begin your donation, type in your donation name at the Purpose prompt and enter the amount you would like to give, then click Update the Total.
